Traveling can be slow indeed if you succumb to every impulse to stop along the roads of the Vineyard where it seems that a new and beautiful view appears every few hundred yards. With all our education, our training and artistic skills, we humans are incapable of creating landscapes as appealing as those that nature assembles by random actions of the elements. But to compensate for that, we among all creatures seem to be unique in our ability to appreciate such wonders.
