This is a view of Bass River from Union Street in South Yarmouth.  The land on the other side of Bass River is West Dennis.
When Karen leaves the parking lot of The Cultural Center of Cape Cod, this is the view she sees. On a sun-lit day the river glistens. It reminds her of the nostalgic old Cape Cod..
